Exams

Exams are a crucial part of our school year, because most people are dependent on it to pass the year etc.

Let us try our best and study  hard for these up coming exams.

Some people may find studying as a hard thing to do but there is not much to it.

You need a good study place to be prepared to study. You should be able to answer YES to all of the following questions:
Preparing to Study: A Good Study Place, Books
  1. Is my Study Place available to me whenever I need it?
Your Study Place does you little good if you cannot use it when you need it. If you are using a Study Place that you must share with others for any reason, work out a schedule so that you know when you can use it.
  2. Is my Study Place free from interruptions?
It is important to have uninterrupted study time. You may have to hang a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door or take the phone off the hook.
  3. Is my Study Place free from distractions?
Research shows that most students study best in a quiet environment. If you find that playing a stereo or TV improves your mood, keep the volume low.
  4. Does my Study Place contain all the study materials I need?
  5. Does my Study Space contain a large enough desk or table?
While working on an assignment or studying for a test, use a desk or table that is large enough to hold everything you need. Allow enough room for writing and try to avoid clutter.
  6. Does my Study Place have enough storage space?
You need enough room to store your study materials. Be sure you have enough storage space to allow you to keep your desktop or other work surface clear of unnecessary materials that can get in the way.
  7. Does my Study Place have a comfortable chair?
A chair that is not comfortable can cause discomfort or pain that will interfere with your studying. A chair that is too comfortable might make you sleepy. Select a chair in which you can sit for long periods while maintaining your attention.
  8. Does my Study Place have enough light?
The amount of light you need depends on what you are doing. The important thing is that you can clearly see what you need to see without any strain or discomfort.
  9. Does my Study Place have a comfortable temperature?
If your Study Place is too warm, you might become sleepy. If it is too cold, your thinking may slow down and become unclear. Select a temperature at which your mind and body function best.
Having a good Study Place is important for good studying.

Friends are like pillows, they are always there for support. At times it is not easy for us to say sorry when things go wrong, but I would like to apologize to all my friends for the wrongs that I have done.

Saying sorry is a hard thing to do, but the feeling you get when your apology is accepted is worth saying it.

The time is drawing near for our big expo. My group is not very certain as to what we will be creating but as soon as that is finalized, I will be sure to inform you, my potential customers!

Stress!

It may seem that there’s nothing you can do about your stress level.  But you have a lot more control than you might think. In fact, the simple realization that you’re in control of your life is the foundation of stress management.
Managing stress is all about taking charge: taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your environment, and the way you deal with problems. The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun – plus the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on.

We all have stress, let us find our own ways of coping with stress!

Exams

Exams are coming near!!

Are we ready guys? I sure do hope so. Remember to put in as much study time as possible. It is for our own benefit!

Death in Belize

It is so sad when we see on the news each day somebody gets killed due to gang violence in our society. The level of crime we have here for such a small country is exceedingly high and it needs to be reduced.

Not only do you take away someones life but you put the life of others in danger in so many ways. Let us help make Belize a better place for us to live in.

The Effects of Smoking

Ok guys, so I did some research on smoking because of an event I saw take place

Smoking isn't good for your body. Especially if you've been smoking a pack a day, and for a long period of time.
But what is the full extent of the effects of smoking on your body?

The effects of smoking varies from person to person as it will depend on the person's vulnerability to the chemical in cigarette or tobacco smoke.
It will also depend on the number of cigarette sticks a person smokes per day, the age when the person first started to smoke, and the number of years the person has been smoking.
